Summary
SPIRIT OF ALTAIR (ex Altair) was designed by Bill Tripp and custom built in Italy. She is built to CE category A.
She is an attractive, light, fast but comfortable cruising yacht. She features a good size tender garage in the transom and has a spacious cockpit with twin wheels. Sailing is easy and fun with new sails from 2019, a Park Av boom, electric winches and an electric headstay furler. Below decks SPIRIT OF ALTAIR offers a raised saloon with wrap-around windows that flood the area with natural light. To port is a U sofa and dining table, to starboard are two chairs separated by the chart area. The owner stateroom is forward, aft of which is, to port the fully equipped galley, and to starboard a twin cabin. Aft of the saloon are two good twin cabins with single side by side beds. All cabins have an ensuite head and shower area.
Originally named "Don Pisco" she is now with her second owner. He has cruised the Mediterranean and to the Caribbean and back. He would now like to plan a bigger yacht for further cruising. SPIRIT OF ALTAIR is a superb family Mediterranean cruiser.
