Accomodations
The cockpit layout on ATTITUDE is designed for ease of movement while underway and also as a platform for relaxing or entertaining. Stern boarding is convenient with a walk-through transom and there is great access to the water via the wide swim platform, which also features a H/C water shower for rinsing off after swimming. Cockpit benches, covered in real teak, are long enough to stretch out on and even more comfortable with ATTITUDE'S custom all-weather cockpit cushions. The cockpit is protected from sun, wind, and rain by a dodger, Bimini, and connector and also side curtains, which turn it into an outdoor living room on the boat.
Moving down below through the wide companionway and gently sloping steps, one is immediately struck by the light and spaciousness of the main salon. There are eight opening portlights, seven overhead hatches plus Beneteau's innovative skylights to provide a remarkable amount of light and ventilation. The galley is to starboard and aft and ergonomically designed to make meal preparation easy while underway or at dockside. It includes a large double stainless steel sink, a 3-burner propane stove/oven, a microwave voluminous side loading refrigerator, and a top loading freezer. The dining table is to starboard and seats six and also converts to a large double berth. The forward-facing nav station is to port and has a large table and well-organized instruments and switch panels within easy reach. Additional seating is provided by the port-side settee which is long enough to serve as a single berth. All Upholstery throughout is deluxe upgraded material replaced recently and in like-new condition. There is storage for live-aboard families or long-range cruisers throughout the cabin under and behind the settees and in cabinets.
Private cabins fore and aft with large double berths are perfect for two couples cruising together or a family with children. The forward cabin has an en suite head which features a Jabsco electric marine toilet, a stand-up shower stall, sink with H/C pressurized water, a large medicine cabinet with a mirror, and additional storage under the sink. The aft head, accessible from both the main salon and the aft cabin, has all the features of the forward head minus the stand-up shower stall, but it does have a handheld shower faucet.
The varnished cherry wood interior woodwork in ATTITUDE is in great condition and guaranteed to cause "oohs" and "ahhhs" from guests when they step on board. Overall the accommodations on the Beneteau 423 are second to none in this class, and buyers will be hard-pressed to find a better-maintained and equipped example than ATTITUDE.
