POWERBOAT GUIDE DESCRIPTION: A well-built boat with appealing lines, the Australian-built Riviera34 Convertible enjoyed a good deal of popularity in the U.S.market following her introduction in 1997. Hull construction is solid fiberglass with collision bulkhead forward and watertightcompartments below. A wide 13'4" beam provides good stabilityand a very comfortable interior. The layout of the Riviera 34is arranged with the galley down, separated from the salon bya serving counter. Opening cabin windows provide excellentventilation, and a step-down galley is overlooked by a servingcounter. (Note the storage compartment under the galley sole.)The private forward stateroom has an island berth, storage below,and large hanging lockers to port and starboard. The head isaccessible from either the companionway or the stateroom andis equipped with a VacuFlush toilet and separate stall shower. Afully instrumented lower helm with swivel helm chair was optional.Cockpit features include sink and freezer, in-deck fish boxes,transom door, and engine room access. Topside, the bridge area isdesigned to seat four comfortably. Cummins 330hp diesels cruisethe Riviera 34 in the mid 20s (28–30 knots top).
