1990 Jersey 47' Convertible Fisher "Big Dog"

Sport Fishing For Sale

47' Jersey 1990 "Big Dog"

Summary

WILL TRADE FOR SMALLER YACHT

Notably, Jersey was one of the few builders that never abandoned single-skin fiberglass hull construction, thus avoiding the complexities of cored hulls. The graceful profile of the Jersey 47 is quite distinctive and her extra-long foredeck and cockpit bridge overhang make her an easy boat to recognize.

Note the use of front windows! Most modern sport fisher models have glassed-over windshields.

“Big Dog” has the two stateroom and galley down interior floor plan. Her staterooms are quite accommodating; both heads are extra roomy and designed with separate shower stalls.

Traditional teak woodwork is used extensively throughout her interior.   Outside, a very large uncluttered cockpit is arranged for serious fishing pursuits and the flybridge is just, huge, with seating for eight!

Powering this beautiful vessel are twin 500-hp, Yanmar 6CXM-GTE2 diesel engines (roughly 550-hours on each).  Cruise speed is approximately 26 knots with top speed around 30.

“New Bottom Paint – November 2016”

A one of a kind sport yacht, “Big Dog” has been well cared for.
