2009 Palm Beach Boat Show

The 24th annual Palm Beach International Boat Show is one of the top ten boat shows in the United States, featuring and estimated $350 million in luxury and custom motor yachts, cruisers and accessories from leading marine manufacturers worldwide. The Palm Beach Boat Show is scheduled to be held March the 26th through the 29th.

Atlantic Yacht & Ship of Fort Lauderdale will be attending The Palm Beach International Boat Show featuring a variety of our luxury yachts and accessories. Always an expertly planned and executed event, the Palm Beach International Boat Show will feature more than 900 boats, from 8-foot inflatables to mega yachts, free kids fishing clinics, fashion shows and family-fun entertainment. Four LCD TV’s will be broadcasting all the excitement and the NCAA “March Madness” Basketball Tournament at the ESPN Radio 760 Budweiser Barge at the north end of the show.

For the children, “Hook the Future” presents the FREE Kids’ Fishing Clinics on Saturday and Sunday sponsored by The Palm Beach Post.  These how-to clinics teach children ages 4 to 16 the basics of fishing fun.  Kids will be taught how to tie a knot, select tackle, cast a rod, and so forth through a series of interactive activity stations. Participants will receive a free rod and reel, a t-shirt and other goodies while supplies last.

Capt. Don Dingman, host of The Outdoor Channel’s “Hook the Future” kids fishing show will be your children’s guide.  Registration begins at 10 a.m. at the information booths located inside the show.  Clinic times will be 11 a.m., 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. at the far south end of the show at Flagler Drive.
