Word has just come from Mack Carroll and Chris Carroll that they has closed on the sale of another 130′ Westport Tri-deck yacht. There has been a lot of interest in Westport yachts the past few years, especially surrounding the 112 Westport and 130 Westport models. Built in the USA, Westport yachts have earned the industry’s respect with their proven sea worthiness and flowing layouts. This particular 130′ Westport was launched in 2008 and has never been chartered. Unlike the 130′ Westport we sold earlier this season, this main saloon features a raised panel joinery in sapele and mahogany woods which accent the large setttees, occasional chairs, and cocktail tables. Another feature of this 130′ Westport is that she is fitted with Naiad “zero-speed” stabilizers for added comfort, even at anchor. With twin 2,735 horse power diesel engines, she can achieve a cruising speed of 20 knots and with extended warranties for three years or 2,000 more hours, this yacht is ready to serve her next owner for years to come.
This 130′ Westport yacht is able to accommodate 10 guests in five staterooms (not including crew accommodations). The master suite is positioned on the main deck and boasts a king size bed along with a private desk area. On the lower deck are the additional four guest staterooms. On the 3rd deck is the enclosed helm and a private study area that opens to the sky lounge. Above that is the fly bridge deck which has an additional helm station and a social area around a grill set up. Don’t forget about the seating forward on the bow, which gives another private area for guests.
