We’re thrilled to announce the sale of the Ocean Alexander 120′ “Long Aweighted” with Chris Carroll, partner at Atlantic Yacht & Ship. This remarkable sale, facilitated by Chris along with his brother Trevor Carroll from Fraser yachts, marks an exciting new chapter for this luxurious vessel.
Commissioned in 2018 and masterfully designed by Evan K. Marshall, “Long Aweighted” epitomizes elegance and performance on the water. Its spacious interior, adorned with walnut wood paneling and boasting a top-of-the-line galley, has always offered unparalleled comfort and style for its fortunate passengers.
The 120 is a tri-deck design with a 25-foot beam. The superyacht includes some notable features. There’s a main-deck master suite and a bridge-deck captain’s cabin. When Ocean Alexander first announced the project in 2010, it promised a “revolutionary” helm design. This innovative concept positioned the traditional observation settee in front of the driving position in the wheelhouse, setting a new standard for future models.
Long Aweighted shines with advanced technology and performance. Powered by twin MTU diesel engines with a combined horsepower of 5,200, it effortlessly reaches speeds nearing 20 knots, with optimal cruising around 14 knots. Its generous fuel capacity of 6,653 gallons and freshwater capacity of 1,378 gallons ensure extended journeys with ease. The pilothouse features advanced Garmin helm technology, including a 8624 Series black box with touchscreen, integrated TimeZero computer, and GRID remote input device. It also includes a Garmin 25kW open-array radar, Furuno RCU-028 radar control, Garmin autopilot GHC20, black box sounder, and marine cameras.
Beyond its impressive specifications, “Long Aweighted” has undergone significant upgrades in recent years, enhancing both functionality and aesthetics. Notable improvements in 2023, including a complete hull paint job, new teak decking, and exterior upholstery, alongside mechanical enhancements, ensure an elevated onboard experience. Additional upgrades in 2022 and 2021, include comprehensive overhauls and enhancements, guaranteeing top-notch condition for its new owner’s enjoyment.
