Where will you be next week? Sail and power superyachts from around the world are gathering for the 12th annual Asia Superyacht Rendezvous opening December 16. The unique event, held at The Surin Phuket resort in Thailand, is Asia’s most prestigious gathering of superyachts and signals the start of the season on that side of the globe. The Rendezvous continues to grow in popularity each year, and this year is shaping up to be the best yet.
Both sail and motor yachts owners will enjoy plenty of action on the water during the event’s three days, with sailing yachts participating in two days of thrilling races accompanied by the motor yacht fleet. Returning principal sponsor Feadship will be arriving next week joined by co-sponsors Boat International Media, and Royal Huisman. The Rendezvous will have three Feadships attending this year: Callisto, Samax, and Helix. Rounding out the list of superyacht invitees will be Phinisi, Silolona, Yanneke Too, Maverick, Shamoun, and Twizzle. Most of the yachts are already anchored in Bang Tao Bay, with attendees eagerly anticipating the thrilling racing action and socializing of the event.
