MYBA Charter Show Kicks Off In Genoa

The prestigious Mediterranean Yacht Brokers Association (MYBA) Charter Show in Genoa, Italy began yesterday. From May 2 to May 6, yachting professionals and enthusiasts will come from all over the globe to soak in the best the yachting industry has to offer in gorgeous Genoa. This event has become one of the premier European yacht shows. The MYBA Charter Show is famous for being a truly international event that showcases the crème de la crème of luxury charter yachts and superyacht services.

The 23rd annual superyacht event will take place in the resplendent Porto Antico, or ancient harbor, in the Marina Molo Vecchio, the Aquarium Quay and Marina Fiera.  Molo Vecchio Crociere is a new addition dedicated to large yachts.  The exhibition is owned by All Yachting SAS and organized by Pesto Sea Group, an active force in the luxury recreational craft services sector for many years.

Yesterday, many visitors perused the beautiful yachts for sale, while partaking in cocktails and attending a 1920’s themed party.  Today a number of seminars are taking place by captains and expedition teams from Malaysia, Antarctica and the Bahamas. At the end of the day guests are invited to the MYBA Gala Dinner with evening dress required.  The remainder of the week follows a similar schedule—luxury yachts for sale, fun Italian-style events and extravagant soirées.  Saturday, May 7, following the festivities, crews are invited to participate in a rugby or golf tournament, beach volleyball match or a guided cultural tour.
