This year marks the 20th Annual Monaco Yacht Show, a world class four-day event that not only attracts yacht enthusiasts from around the world but earns the ongoing support of Prince Albert II of Monaco himself. Last year’s show drew over 27,000 people and this year’s show is excepting no less for its special 20th anniversary.
After 18 years of service as head of the Monaco Yacht Show, Luc Pettavino stepped down from his position last week. The Monaco Yacht Show team will work with Peter Rigby, CEO of Informa, which owns the Monaco Yacht Show along with 8,000 other events worldwide, on future shows.
From September 22nd to the 25th, 2010, Monaco will take the world by storm with its annual exhibit of superyachts from international luxury yachting industry leaders. Over 500 companies representing over 38 nationalities will display the most prestigious assembly of yachts on the planet, with 100 of the world’s finest yachts featured in a floating exhibition in Port Hercules.
Exhibitors comprise of all sectors of the luxury yachting business, including 85 shipyards, 25 brokers, 39 interior designers, 28 luxury brands, 29 magazines and more. The world’s biggest yacht builders will be at the show along with other luxury sectors such as private jets, helicopters and other luxury goods and accessories.
