Atlantic Yacht and Ship announces the sale of “The Rock”, a 120’ Ocean Alexander built in 2017 by yacht broker Christopher Carroll who represented the buyer, along with Andrew Miles of Westport and Jack Robertson of HMY who represented the seller.
“The Rock” commissioned new in April 2018 by an extremely experienced Owner and Crew. The massive volume is comparable to a larger yacht with the livability and stance of a 50 meter. Designed by Evan K. Marshall, with the idea of constructing a “mini 160” in a 120′ hull. Her unique journey started at the Christensen Shipyard where her hull was finished. After that, she headed off to Ocean Alexander to be completed.
“The Rock” accommodates ten owner/guests with extraordinary privacy, quiet and opulence in her five stateroom layout. In addition, there are three crew cabins accommodating five crew members.
Each of the five luxurious staterooms has its own distinctive guest experience. All of them include private heads, media arrays, custom cabinetry, distinctive stonework and cedar-lined lockers.
The master stateroom is on the main deck. Its full-beam width has extraordinary amenities, including his and her sinks, an oversized marble shower and whirlpool tub, heated marble floors and cedar-lined hanging lockers with auto lighting.
In addition, a special feature of this well-appointed yacht is her Beach Club. The air conditioned indoor lounge area is the perfect spot for reading, relaxing or watching your favorite team. The 50” flat screen TV will accommodate all. While the outdoor setting with lounge chairs makes the perfect place for sunbathing before cooling off with a swim just a few steps away. Complete with a settee and coffee table, full bar with sink, wine cooler and refrigerator/freezer, it’s the perfect place for entertaining and enjoying cocktails and light fare.
Similarly, her expansive fly bridge makes it easy for the crew to cater to your every need. There is also a beautifully laid out wet bar, comfortable lounge seating and a Jacuzzi.
Located in South Florida “The Rock” asking price was $14,900,000 at the time of sale in Palm Beach, FL.
