The reason being that when you are at anchor on a day trip with family or friends having lunch and swimming around, everybody piles back onto the cockpit deck and observation seating up next to the helm for a ride home dripping wet in the breeze. Harking back to the original full length cockpit Sunseekers, the Predator 60 is an absolute dream to drive, leaning tight into turns, returning smartly on the way out and driving sweetly through waves that will have other marques slamming. She’s an out-and-out performer and the wet-style cockpit with it’s weather repellent upholstery, to sunpad and forward entertainment areas beneath the wide opening sliding glass roof, provides the perfect platform. Now extending that appeal there’s also a new enclosed cockpit version to suite both hotter and colder climates, with a wide sliding door gibing on to a more formal air conditioned saloon area that remains at one with the aft cockpit, with a lip-less threshold between the two teak decked areas. Passing between the helm station and obsercation seating, the lower deck reveals a plush saloon with practical, well lit and ventialted galley, with twin cabin and full beam master suite behind and VIP suite forward in the bow.
