A bestseller for Ocean from 1986 through 1990, the original 48 Super Sport has a Jersey style profile with an aggressive appearance. She is quick to accelerate and very fuel efficient, cruises at 20 knots and capable of 27 knots WOT. "Sea Path" has the popular three stateroom , step down galley configuration which places anyone in the galley still able to see and converse with the crowd in the salon.
Introduced in 1986, the Ocean 48 Super Sport was built on a stretched 46 hull with improved styling and performance. The 48 Super Sport offers both luxurious interior accommodations for her and impressive performance and a proven fishing platform for him. Of the two floor plans offered, the 3 stateroom with mid-level galley was the most popular. Warm teak woodwork and cabinetry adorn the 48 throughout and this yacht is no exception!
A good looking convertible known for it's best in class combination of fuel efficiency and performance. Interior features rival those of a motor yacht. 3 staterooms, two heads, galley one step down layout with large salon.
Although the 48 SS was re-styled several times during her long production run from 1986 until 2003, she remained a constant best seller in her size and class range for Ocean Yachts and has always enjoyed popularity on the resale market.
