While still building vessels at their original company, the two original partners decided in 1988 to found the Cantieri Navali Falcon Srl. shipyard to build motor yachts in the Falcon series from 15 to 30 meters. Originally, the Falcon series vessels produced by Cantieri Navali Falcon Srl. were all wood before production shifted to exclusively fiberglass. Thanks to the use of high quality materials and the flawlessly executed construction of the Falcons, all of the vessels produced at Cantieri Navali Falcon Srl. are still safely cruising the Seas. The high demand for the Falcon series yachts necessitated the creation of a second shipyard facility, Falcon Yachts Srl., in 1992. The strategic location of the new yard, close to the facilities for launching in the heart of the port area in Viareggio, Italy, allowed Falcon Yachts to begin immediately focusing on the construction of the largest models of the Falcon series yachts. From the 88’ and 91’ single deck vessels originally constructed at the Falcon Yachts shipyard, the Falcon fleet rapidly expanded to include the Falcon 92’ with a raised pilot house and the popular 100’ Falcon. With more than 35 vessels built, Falcon Yachts’ production is currently focusing on the Falcon 102’ and the Falcon 115’, the new flagship of the Falcon fleet.
