Thanks for all that you have done and the help and guidance you have provided us from buying the Sunseeker thru selling the Doral.
I have been lucky enough over the last 7 months to have enjoyed both of the happiest days in a boater life, buying my retirement boat and sellling my boat in Baltimore and with a group of professionals that made it all a great experience and smooth business process.
Thanks for All
Jim & Iris Peters
I wanted to send you these few lines to convey in writing what I did personally, and that is, to express my gratitude and appreciation for all your hard work, your enthusiasm, and good humor, as well as that of your father, regarding the purchase of Charley’s Angel. I know that I must not have been an easy party (we attorneys are seldom easy guys). My ever lasting doubts and concerns were more than satisfactorily dealt with through you personal attention and dedication to the matter. After the closing I wondered whether I would have purchased the boat if you and Mack would have not been on the transaction. I really have serious doubts. The seller was not an easy seller, and I was not an easy buyer, and the boat was not an easy boat!!!
An additional thanks regarding all you messages after the closing, volunteering your assistance in matters that I was completely lost.
All the family values you very highly and we all are very thankful for all the time you spent in this transaction. We estimate the quality of your work and are fully aware of your efforts all along the different stages, and as mentioned before, even long after the closing.
“Hi Chris, thank you for handling the purchase of my boat. You did a very professional job and will recommend you to anyone I know who is thinking of buying or selling a boat. Thanks again!”
“Just a short note to sincerely thank you for all of your efforts and marketing skills that always culminated with the sale of my many City Lights! AY&S has brokered four of my boats over the past 12 years and as usual you’re marketing skills and straight forward approach is refreshing in today’s yacht brokerage industry.
AY&S has earned my loayalty by doing whatever it takes to bring a qualified buyer to the table: even in the most difficult economy you were successful in selling my boat. Your premium waterfront location and affordable dockage is an additional advantage, having my boat at your docks take away all of the hassles. More than that, you’ve always been available to help me outwith vendor recommendations and numerous other requests I bothered you with over the years.
As you are aware my other passion is aviation, so for the time being I’ll be in the cockpit, but as soon as the boating bug bites me again I will be calling you.”
“Trevor, it is accurate to say that without your creativity we probably would still be in our 58 ft Hattereas Yachtfish! You helped us understand that buying, selling big boats is at minimum a fluid marketplace, and that opportunities can be managed and subsequently created between willing participants. The result for us is now the Hatteras we wanted, a five stateroom eighty footer that accommodates most of our needs…no doubt we will again be in the marketplace and your phone will ring!”
“Mack, I wanted to send a thank you note for all you have done for Patti and me. We sat down last night and started adding up all of the boats we have bought and sold through you and your company.
We started with a 42′ Chris Craft then went to the 49′ Gulfstar. That led us to purchase the 58′ Hatteras followed by the 63′ Viking motor yacht. You sold the 53′ Hatteras I got on trade without me ever seeing it.
Your company, staff and most of all your contacts are the best in the business.
Call me with the next deal, and good luck!”
“Just a short note to let you know how much we are enjoying our new sportfisherman. Your help at the closing was great, and I am pleased with how smoothly you were able to dispose of our old boat. We look forward to seeing you later this year in Florida.”
“Roy and I wanted to let you know how much we appreciate working with you to sell Mer Sea. Your considerable knowledge of boats and all things boating, combined with your respect for how much this particular boat means to us, have made this process a pleasure. You have always been available to help out if there was something we needed, and you have lots of suggestions for solutions when we run into a snag. You are responsive when we have questions, and straightforward with your answers.
We were particularly impressed with your approach to prospective buyers at the Palm Beach Boat Show. It was an opportunity for us to see you “in action”, so to speak, and we both really liked your laid-back but attentive style. Your knowledge of our boat, as well as boats in general, was very much in evidence.
These are challenging times to be trying to sell a boat, and your good nature, positive attitude, and sense of humor help us keep things in perspective. It’s a pleasure to be working with you on this project, and we would (and have!) heartily recommend you to our friends!”
“We both wanted to relay to you our sincere appreciation for all your efforts, which have gone above and beyond any expectations we could have in dealing with a brokerage company. We have had the pleasure of dealing with you over the years both buying and selling our boats and have always been treated with the utmost professionalism, efficiency, and honesty.
Your marketing skills and straightforward approach has kept us as your most loyal customer. You have been both creative and efficient at producing qualified buyers and more important in taking care of us after we have purchased the boat. Your knowledge of the industry has helped us maintain our vessel and you have always responded promptly and have gotten the job done. We consider you not only a professional acquaintance, but also a trusted friend and source of knowledge in the boating industry. Thank you for all your help.”
