After just delivering two new Sunseekers to their new owners in the US, it was time for the Sunseeker USA East team to head to the Sunseeker Factory in Poole, U.K. for the 2012 training session. Each year Sunseeker salesmen from around the world gather at the factory to go over new models, current market trends, and to asses our product against the competition. Over 100 salesmen from around the world were in attendance for the two day seminar and representing the USA were the 7 salesmen from Sunseeker USA East.
There was a lot of talk about our new entry level model, the 40′ Sunseeker Portofino. The second hull was being sea trialed while we were at the factory and it proves to be a fun size boat with all the quality of the larger Sunseeker models. Although it has regular Volvo stern drive propulsion, it is matched to a joystick control for very easy maneuvering. She features a large sunroof that opens to essentially expose the entire cockpit deck and relatively spacious interior accommodations for four. Another model that was discussed is the new 80′ Sunseeker Predator model. The Predator 80 had all of us dealers very excited because it is a stunning example of how Sunseeker is again raising their quality and innovation to a new level.
The saloon has amazing views with large windows and the open layout continues past the state-of-the-art helm control chair, down the floating staircase to the galley, and an amazing design in the master suite that makes the boat appear much larger than she is. Very impressive!
