This 367′, or 112 meter, yacht is appropriately named Opimus which translates to splendid in Latin. Opimus Yachts, in conjunction with an historical award winning shipyard, is pleased to announce the design of their new 112m motor yacht. Construction of the hull is now in her final completion stage awaiting instructions on the final design being modern or traditional specification.
With her huge space available she can accommodate virtually any aspect the heart desires from swimming pools, tennis courts, bowling allies, wave pools, driving range, motor yachts, submarines, jet ski’s, cars, and many more including under cover storage of your helicopter. Opimus will have accommodations for 30 passengers and guests consisting of 15 suites and an Owners private penthouse suite on the top deck. Every suite will have an ocean view including the latest electronic opening balconies. There are large lounge areas and a dining room on the aft of the Main Deck with an outside swimming pool. All other entertaining facilities include a large gymnasium, well-being center, sauna and steam rooms. The indoor cinema and dive center included in this area.
High atrium with central staircase and 4 elevators connect all decks. A sun deck has a shaded dining area and sunning areas with a second Jacuzzi tub. There are additional service cores including service elevators on both port and starboard side. Helicopter is possible on the stern and also on the forward main deck both will include an hydraulic platform lowering into a hangar below and possibly 4 cars plus water craft. There are accommodations for approximately 40 crew and 20 staff located on the forward lower decks.
Best of all, this vessel is capable of trans-Pacific cruising at approximately 36 knots. Engines are run on LPG with a water jet propulsion which is a winning combination as proven by winning the blue ribbon trophy now 3 times. Opimus is the yacht to travel the world find places where other yachts simply cannot go mainly because of her low draft situation.
