Originally a reputable yacht design firm under the direction of Jack Hargrave, Hargrave Custom Yachts has grown to represent a fleet of custom sea-worthy luxury yachts. Hargrave works with the philosophy that a modern yacht builder must have an in-house design and engineering team in order to streamline the custom building process. Offering custom builds in the 70′ – 135′ range, Hargrave states that its values are quality, value, and customization. One example of customization is that a few years ago we sold a 96′ Hargrave with an elevator to all three decks which is the only yacht I’ve ever seen under 100ft with a three deck elevator. Atlantic Yacht & Ship currently has several pre-owned Hargrave Yachts for sale and will also have some on display at the upcoming Fort Lauderdale Boat Show. Here are two featured Hargrave Yachts that we currently have for sale:
“Freedom R” has classic and comfortable styling throughout her three spacious staterooms. Forward there is a country kitchen and dining area which make for a very social layout. She has desirable Caterpillar C-32 engines which allow her to cruise at 18 knots. Despite the interior which has lavish appointments that make for an elegant feel, including a small yet stunning foyer connecting the staterooms, there is a fun flybridge and cockpit with lots of deck space and a watersports garage fully-outfitted with dive equipment! For more information on “Freedom R” contact Andrey Shestakov.
“Sea Bee I” is a 97′ Hargrave that is currently cruising in Newport, RI. She also has Caterpillar engines (C-30) which allow her to cruise at 17 knots and are still covered by CAT Platinum warranty through 6/2015. This yacht is another example of the customization that Hargrave offers as the individual styles of the family members who built this yacht. The owners were going “richness and drama” and she is laid out as such with light golds matched to rich midnight blacks and metals. The aft deck is oversized and leads directly into the full-beam saloon. She has two master staterooms along with one VIP and one guest with bunks plus two crew cabins. She is “fully-loaded” for entertaining and weekend trips! For more information on “Sea Bee I” contact Trevor Carroll.
