Andrew’s career in the marine industry began at the age of sixteen with a shipwright apprenticeship at Carrington Slipways, a large shipbuilding facility in Newcastle, Australia. There he was educated in all facets of steel ship and fiberglass yacht construction. After that he lived on the Great Barrier Reef in Cairns, Australia for eight years, working as a dive boat engineer and SCUBA instructor. Andrew received his 3000 GT Master’s license in 2003 and has traveled the world as a yacht captain of vessels up to 200 feet. He is also an experienced refit project manager.
Andrew understands the many different aspects of yachting and boat ownership; his broad knowledge and experience, coupled with a strong work ethic, serve to be valuable assets to any client interested in the sale of their current yacht or the purchase of their next yacht.
